Im super depressed! I was getting pics off my myspace account cuz its about time I just delete the thing and found these old ones before I had Brie. Yeah first thing you are probably thinking is oh my god you havnt deleted your myspace yet and second wow I didnt even know myspace existed 5 years ago. Any ways I found these old pics of a post mexico party we had after me and kels both got back from vacations and really I think we just wanted to show off our tans. But im freakin tiny in these pics and I havnt seen a flat stomach like that in some time. Yes I had 2 kids but that is no reason to say hey well I look good for having kids! I just want to say hey i look good. In these pics I prob weighed about 110 lbs so I dont think I can ever get that small again without just starving myself but this is my New Years resolution get back in shape and be proud of how I look in a bikini. Oh and the other pics you cant really see my rockin bod but I just thought they were cute so i put them up too :) But to keep motivated Ill keep you updated with my weight loss progress and hopefully by June Ill be ready to rock the beach proud of myself!

Snowman Family
Here we are as snowmen. Brie has been asking all week to go out and make a snowman family but the snow wasnt any good till today. So this morning we got bundled up and went to do it. Too bad brie was crabby and pouted the whole time so I ended up doing it all myself. Poor Mom Snow lady already fell over and got crushed so she doesnt look quite as good....more like a grandma snowman. but its supose to be Brie, Gigi, Me, and Kacy

December Movie Review
Well I saw more movies the past 2 weeks than I normally see the whole year and I was surprised that all 4 were really good. So here is my quick movie review for anyone thinking of what to go see
True Grit might have been my favorite of all the movies. I didn't know what it was going to be like until I talked to someone who saw it and told me that is was funny. I had thought it was just going to be another boring western. It was the perfect combo of funny but also a good story to go with it. It kept your attention all the way through and it even got thumbs up from all 5 of us who went to it ( something almost impossible) The acting in it was amazing and I can see why people are upset that it got snubbed at the golden globes. Go see this if you want something entertaining but also light and easy to watch.Tangled was another Disney hit. Perfect for kids and grownups its funny but touching. The music in it is good and I was surprised I liked Mandy Moore as Rapunzel. We didn't see it in 3D but even without it is fun for everyone.
When I think of the fighter the first thing I think of is Christian Bale. He might have been the supporting actor but he stole the show. I cant believe i am saying that when its my favorite actor Marky mark that he is over showing. Just the weight he lost for the part alone was shocking. I was super impressed that MW did all the boxing himself. it was a good story too but kinda heavy and a little harder to watch than the others.
oh black swan what do i say about you. beautiful movie and i love the ballet and music. but this is a thriller movie that keeps you on edge and guessing all the way through. As soon as it was over i wasn't sure what to think but that's all i did for the next two days was think about it and want to watch it again. I was glad it wasn't as creepy as I thought it was going to be and it really is worth watching and drawing your own conclusions from

Puppet Theater
So I know I posted a doorway theater that we had made earlier but after some thought I came to the conclusion that its a pain in the butt to have to set it up in a door way when ever the kids want to do a show, and if its put away they will never think to play with it and it really kills the spontaneous play. But we also didn't want something big and bulky. So my crafty mom build this wooden frame to hang curtains on. we picked out all the fabric and she sewed it and hung them on rods to look like this. We are going to use the fabric from the other one to try and make differnt curtains to put on it. These ones work good for a princess show but not as good for all the animal puppets they got too.
Our Doll Family
This is what my dad and step mom sent Brie for Christmas. She found these antique dolls at a cool store in northern Cali and they just happen to look like us all. Me and Brie have our platinum hair, Kacys is kinda reddish blond, even though he doesn't like to admit the red gene is from him, and then the little baby Gigi. She also started making her own doll furniture and you cant see it here but we are all sitting on a little couch she made too. I love how unique this present is and even though its kinda mean I put them away so Brie cant ruin them. When she is a little older she will appreciate them more.
Christmas Eve Eve till Boxing Day...
WARNING THIS POST IS VERY LONG AND POTENTIALLY BORING TO MOST. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK......AND IF YOU WANT TO SEE PICTURES REFER TO MY FB.
Christmas Eve Eve......`
Time to share what we have been up the the past few busy days. We started celebrating Christmas on Thursday night when kacys bro josh was in town. He wasn't able to come over on Christmas so we did a special thing just with him. Kacys mom went all out and made the homemade chicken noodle soup which honestly I might love more than traditional Christmas dinners. The girls got to open there stuff from josh and he always picks out fun unique stuff. This year he brought brie some Floam......its like the molding stuff that is a bunch of sticky little balls. its so much fun to play with and it never drys out lol. It was a nice way to start off the present opening.
Christmas Eve.......
Every year we do Christmas Eve dinner with my mom and this year my bro wasn't going to be able to spend Christmas morning with us so we did presents and everything with him that night. For dinner we did our annual fondue with a cheese and an oil pot. we dipped veggies, bread, potatoes, poppers, chicken, and steak and enjoyed lots of wine and champagne. My bros gf's kids were also here so brie had a lot of fun playing with them and then everyone opened gifts from each other. After they left it was time to get ready for Santa so we picked out cookies and milk to leave and went outside to sprinkle special reindeer food ( crushed up mini wheats). We read 3 special Christmas books: Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas, the polar express, and the jolly Christmas postman. The girls went to sleep, Santa did his thing and we even had time to relax in the hot tub before going to bed too.
Christmas Morning
Brie was up nice and early at 7 to see if Santa came. The first thing she wanted to see was if he ate his cookies, which he did and then she checked out her full stocking and the couple presents Santa left. We did have a big Santa present for the girls but it didn't work out because brie accidentally saw it a few days before but didn't know what it was. My mom built and then sewed a puppet theater that turned out amazing but because brie had seen it in marks room she goes "oh that's just marks thing" . Good thing Santa was prepared and made sure to hunt down the one thing that brie asked for, a soft Rapunzel doll that she could sleep with. Thank you ebay for saving me on that one. So she got the doll and then Santa also brought these great royal family puppets. They were probably the most spendy ones I found online at 20 dollars a piece but they were so much cuter than all the others. Darn Hearth Song and Magic cabin with your amazing toys. After a yummy breakfast of huckleberry chocolate chip scones we moved onto the pile of presents under the tree. It probably took a good 3 hours to open everything because brie likes to open everything up and play with it for a while before moving on to the next thing. They got lots of more puppets, jesse from toy story, all the barbie princess dolls, monster bowling, this fun little wheelie set, some moon dough, mr. potato head, these cool night lights, and lots more that I cant remember...yeah lets say SPOILED. Oh and I forgot about myself, I got the most amazing ugg boots ever! I love my Ugg slippers but these are so comfy and warm. I also got all these fun cookie cutters and a cookie press. And this was just the beginning......
Christmas Day
Off to Kacys mom we went and as soon as we got there we did our stockings there and started on the piles of presents. Lets see some of the fun stuff was a princess castle tent and a huge box of dress up stuff for miss brie and a costco membership and lots of gift cards for me and kacy. I think my favorite thing though was a necklace kacys mom gave me that is three little charms, two are little girls with Brie and Gigi's birthstones in them and the middle one is a heart that says mom. It was just so cute! i was also excited to give kacys mom a special rock that Mark Ogle painted for her, she collects rocks and it turned out so cool! There was tons of more stuff but I cant even remember it all. Then we had out yummy dinner which was thanksgiving all over again. I know a lot of people do prime rib but im a fan of the turkey dinner again! Our Christmas night tradition is for all the kids ( 20 year old kids) to go to a movie...this year we saw True Grit and it was so so good I was surprised. After we took our tired selves home and just crashed.
Boxing Day ( for those of you who dont know ie: everyone boxing day is what we Canadians call the day after Christmas)
I spent most of the day trying to find homes for the new stuff and sorting through the old stuff and for the first year ever took down the tree already....but lets admit it, our tree was looking quite hagered. We also went and did a little shopping with the gift cards and got the new Donkey Kong game for wii. And this is where im going to end this LONG boring post and go try this game out!
Hope everyone had their own amazing days with their family and friends and no matter what you did or got remember that the day is all about loving each other and being together!

Here are my two little cuties in their matching pjs....Brie got hers this summer and then auntie cole gave gigi hers for christmas. I think they are just the cutest, but im an elephant freak so that might have something to do with it. The best part is that bries are a size 2T (she will be turning 4 in about 2 month) and gigis are size 18 month. Watch out Brie sissy is catching up and she is going to get you back for all the times you beat her up.
we have been working really hard on sticking to the 9:00 bedtime routine around here and I think its been about 2 successfull weeks of it! woo hoo so nice to get some time to myself at night. Here they are both passed out in our bed just like they should be so I can kick back, enjoy some wine in the hot tub or more likely a pepsi and some popcorn while watching a movie.

Early Christmas at Coldstone
We went to open our presents from Auntie Cole today and Coldsone. A little early present opening is tons of fun, and I like the fact that Brie really got to appreciate what she got instead of just jumping to the next gift. The princess stool was super cute and brie sat and played with the fairy tea set for a good hour there. Gigi got cute jammies and the sweetest litte shoes that are a little big now but that doesnt stop her from wearing them and cruising all over the store. Thank you Auntie Cole for always being so good to these two little girls. I think that every day the rest of the week leading up to Chritmas we will open one presents, I think brie will enjoy it so much more and get to play with each thing.
Family Pics
Every year I want to do family picture to send out and this year we actually did it. I held out for it to snow again after all the yucky rain so we would have a nicer background. And as soon as I saw that sun come out, I got the girls ready and jumped on the oppertunity. It was so hard to get a good picture of all of us when it was all cold out but I think we did ok and im happy with what we got!
And this one just didnt quite work out at all, Brie looks funny once again......
And this is the best we are going to get out of our crabby cold 3 year old. Thank you gigi for being a trooper!

Ice Princess
Went down to the lake yesterday to check out the ice. I brought a shovel thinking I would have to get snow off but it was all clear and ready to go. We havnt been able to find Brie skates small enough for her little feet so she just likes to skate around on her boots. This is her skating pose I guess. It was so nice and sunny I had to try out some skating myself. It was so much fun I thought that a skating party would be fun and we could make a big fire to stand by when it gets cold. So we will see when I can get everyone together. Its so hard this time of year when people are booked up every day with events.

This is what your tree looks like when you dont have any kids, well actually brie was just a baby who couldn't walk yet so that doesn't count but any ways you use nice fancy white lights and learn to make bows just so you can up them all over your perfect tree.....
And this is what your Christmas Tree looks like when you have a one year old stealing ornaments....note the bottom half of the tree is quite bare. We just keep moving them higher as we find them scattered all over the floor....man I cant wait for the days where I make a beautiful tree again....wait not really because then the kids will be older and wont love Christmas like they do now

Cute Winter Nails
I know this is a silly post but I am just too happy about how my nails came out this week to not share them a bit. I was going to do some candy cane stripes but kim jacked my idea lol, but thats ok becasue this was my back up plan. I love how sparkly they are and of course the snowflakes that Lanie my nail girl drew on them. you cant quite see by the pic but the ring fingers have snow flakes on them too. Went a little crazy and out of the box on the thumbs but hey its Christmas and we are allowed a little bit of bling and sparkle! Oh and i have to add that I had gigi up their with me with no one to help watch her and she screams the whole time, and squirmed around on my lap while they were getting done. So good job super Lanie for pulling these off so well. And everyone should go make an appt with her. Just Teazing Salon in Whitefish!

Cape
Once again I saw something in the Magic Cabin catalog that I wanted but didnt want to spend so much for, so I put my mom to work sewing a cape for Brie for Christmas. This is gigi being my picture model but she wouldnt stay still very well. better pics to come after it is opened!
Shark Bait
Im just in one of those moods to show off all the crafts and things I have made or got. Nicole painted this for me a few years ago and I love love it. When she gave it to me there was a beta fish in it, we named him Squishy. He lived for over a year but just kicked the bucket one day. Kacy had thought that Squishy was bored in his bowl so one day he bought this tiny fish a Walmart to throw in thinking Squishy would attack and eat it. Not so much, Squishy was lazy and he didnt even try to go after him.....so then we had two fish. We named the other one Shark bait. i didnt have the heart not to keep taking care of Shark bait so he is now living in the bowl, with no heat, oxygen, and I feed him beta food becasue I was too lazy to buy him fish flakes. Must be working because he is well over a year old now.....Shark Baid Oooo haha

Ouch....
Poor Gigi, today she tripped and crashed her head into the coffee table, you can see on her forhead the big bruise and goose egg she got. And then im not sure how but she also has a black eye on the other side. She seems fine but im keeping my eye on her to make sure she doenst have a concusion.
Gingerbread baby
Brie was making some cookies today and I just though she looked so funny in her dress, It reminded me of in the 50's when ladies would be cooking and baking in their heels and dresses.....
Princess Elf Hat
On the movie The Santa Clause, there is an elf Judy who wears a pointed hat with lots of ribbon on it, well it was cute so I though I would whip one out. All I did was use a 12 by 12 scrapbook page, cover it in sliver gltter and then add lots of ribbons. Turned out cute for a half hour of work.
