Couples night 2

yay so we have kept tradition going 2 months now and did a couples dinner and game night. Kels hosted and made lots of mexican food yummy, and Nicole became official margaritta maker. Im usually not a big margaritta fan but i did have one and was impressed by her cocktail mixing skills! Mostly just all hung out and talked baby free and then played some pictanary. Also a game I thought i didnt like much but it was a blast with the big marker board. and not gunny lie i turned out a lot better than i thought i would be. We had to take off early around 10 to go home to baby G who was with grandma. Everyone thinks im the debby downer because i dont stay later and get someone to watch brie till like one......all of you with kids SO know where im comming from! you have kids becsue you miss them after a few hours and want to be there to put them to bed! ya parents need a break but im happy to go home and see her after 5 hours! All i can say i guess is that their time will come when they have babies at sitters and feel guilty asking people to watch the kids all the time.....any way that was super off track of the party but all in all we had a ton of fun and i cant wait till Feb. when the next one is! oh and ps there are pics just not on my cammera cuz im lame and never take it, so when someone else puts theirs up ill steal and put up!

petunia picklebottom

Its a sad day for us savy moms who love petunia picklebottom. They make the cutest diaperbags, blankets, and cariboo bassinett cloths. Yesterday i went to Sprouts a baby boutique that carries both carribo and pp. I asked if she could order me the bassinett and liner because they didnt have any in the store, and she said the only reason they had the bassinette was for the pp liner that they make for them and that pp is NO LONGER MAKING BABY PRODUCTS.....yes i repete that pp diaperbage are going to be no more! So i guess if you want them get them now before the demand goes way up. The only good thing for me is they told me at sprouts she still have one bassinett with a green and pink pp liner in storage and they would sell it to me for a nice big discount! So the baby i dont have will have enjoy its bassinette lol! and untill the day comes where i have another bries dolls will have a nice bed too!

Our "nice" bedtime routine

K so this is for Christina and Steph who i am really hating on right now! You both did your cute bed time routines and i thought id share what a typical bedtime is like at our house! So for starters the clock say about 11:00! Brie is already wearing her jammies because that is all she like to wear every day so got that covered! We have already spent about 2 hours trying to calm down by watching movies and reading books and getting a bottle but with no luck. Finally its so late mom and dad are going to sleep and brie is still awake so she sits on our bed and watched Cars or Mulan or Toy Story. About half way through aka 12:00 now she gets tired and climbes on top of me sleeping. Once she falls asleep i move her to her own pillow but still between us and sleep for about 2 hours before she wakes up realises the move i pulled and climbes back on. Usually choaking me with her little arms! So we do this little battle for the rest of the night till morning when i get up with Kacy at about 7 and she just sleeps and sleeps all nice and on her own till about 10:00. Ok so i admitt that this is all my own fault, i held her all the time sleeping as a baby, let her sleep with me at about 2 months when i got tired of going to her crib in the night, and never got her using a bottle to help sleep. So now im serving my punishment! Be happy you cute parents who you little ones say i love you and go to sleep all happy on their own!

Weddings and Babies

I knew the day would come where everyone you know is getting married and having babies! And in my life it just hit! Well it started a little early for me when i had brie but the next 5 months of my life are so filled with weddings and baby showers and fun things like that! Im super glad im not the single girl who has to watch all her friends get married and have babies! and its even more exciting that im a part of all the parties and a few of them might even be my own! Thats if i ever get over losing the PERFECT dress and continue on with my wedding plans....but any ways yay for everyone right now i hope all your special days turn out magical!

Battle of the Rocking horse

So the story goes...... Bries bday is in a few weeks and I decided to get her a rocking horse. i was going to get it for her for Christmas but didnt because we got her a lot of other stuff. So i pick out the one i want at imagination station. Now everyone knows this is what im getting her for her bday but i guess my mom liked wooden rocking horses better and thougth i should get one like that. I said no im getting her the plush pink unicorn. So any ways today im checking emails and see that a rocking horse has shipped from costco so i look it up and its a wooden rocking horse! So my mom got her that one knowing i was getting her the other so now she is getting 2 rocking horses? Who needs 2 rocking horses? And which one will she like better and make the other person feel all bad? any ways im still getting her the other and set them up and see which she goes to first lol. so heres pics of both.......whats your vote????

Read this when ever you think your single pregnancy was bad!

Octuplets Born In California

For only the second time in history of the US, octuplets have been born that survived more than just a few hours.

The eight babies were born to a woman whose doctor describes her as a “Strong woman” well able to care for eight babies.

The woman has stated she plans to breast feed all eight of them.

Weighing in at just over a pound, to a bit more than three pounds, the babies were all delivered by C section in a California hospital near Los Angeles. Three required ventilators to breath, the others did not. So far all of the babies have survived.

The 46 member medical team did get a bit of a shocker though. Expecting a multiple birth, they thought that they had it narrowed down to 7 babies they were expecting. Number eight popped out as a shocker for everyone, mom and medical team alike.
