The Princess and the Frog

Such a cute movie! We took brie to see this yesterday and I loved it, much better than I thought it was going to be! Just had that classic disney princess feel! So take your kids to see it and its a good excuse for the parents to have some good ol cajan fun!

Dress up

Brie's presents this year were mostly sutff for dress up, she got lots of costumes that we bought super cheap after halloween and then a whole make up vanity from her auntie K. Opening presents took a while cuz she had to try one each outfit as she got it!

The first gift of Christmas

So our tradition is to open one present on christmas eve, and this year we needed brie to open a fun one so she would be playing and not notice us going back and forth in the garage all night building the dollhouse. So she got the melissa and doug ice cream set which is a ton of fun and its all magnetic so they stay together well!

Ok maddy, your gingerbread house was amazing compared to ours lol, no we didnt try all that hard just bought brie some frosing and let her decoate the pieces of the houe laying down. We never even tried to put it together just something fun for brie to do Christmas Eve. It got a little messy after a while and Brie decided that she wanted to decorate herself instead of the house!

Santas Elves

Oh how hard santa's elves worked the last couple days before christmas. The head elf ( lets call him kacy) likes to "test" out the new call of duty game to make sure its good for all the kids and forgot to spend his time building a new dollhouse for one very special little girl named brie. But Kacy the elf payed for his procrastination and spent 12 hours straight putting together her present. Poor helper elf ( lets call her Melissa ) then had to stay up till 2 paining this dollhouse. Unfortinatly they ran out of time to decorate the inside before santa need to take off and deliver gifts! Any ways this is what it looked like Christmas morning and bries mommy and daddy have a lot of work to do to it till its all done!

Schnaus Cabin

Here is the crew up at Schnaus cabin! We played lots of Dominos, stayed toasty warm by the fire, and ate lots of good food! Such a fun weekend with the fam!

Snow Fun

We went up to a cabin in the North Fork this last weekend with my mom and brother. These pics were some of the snow fun we had, Kacy and Brie crashing into a tree sledding, building a snowman, and out walking with little G all flopped over sleeping with big mittens to keep her hands warm! So nice to play in the snow seeing as we dont have any here for christmas!

Prep and Landing

So I was bummed my DVR didnt record prep and landing the first time it was on tv but then i saw it was going to be on again and got it this time. Such a cute special! It was so clever the "code" names the elves used like "lil drummer boy" "tree skirt" and "8 maids a milking" but who would expect any less from a pixar film! So if you missed it either check for it to be on later or go to abcfamily.com and watch it online! Its worth it!

Super Mom

Moms Do a lot of super human things.....here are some of their powers

Super Strength- I carry a 15 pound car seat and a 24 pound toddler into stores, up stairs, and across ice covered parking lots

Super Hearing- Even in the deepest sleep I will wake up to the smallest of baby cries or coos

Super Smell- We dont need details here but I keep those diapers clean!

Super Sight- Im always on the look out for dangerous items that babies could eat, trip over, break, climb, or cut.

Super Touch- Even in the crabbiest of moods of biggest fits a cuddle by mommy can calm them down

Super Healing- Oh what a magic mommy band aid can do

Playing is hard work

Lol, I just went in the living room to see waht brie was up to cuz she had been quite for a while and this is how i found her! love it! btw she doesnt use a binky, she just found one of G's and wanted it on her!

Ok so this was our attempt at a photo shoot but mom forgot tights and diaper covers so every second we were trying to cover up their lil tushy butts! Not to mention its almost impossible to get them both to coperate. So there will hopefully be better luck on the 2nd try!

Stockings

Ok so I have been going crazy wanting to put up pics of my creation! I wanted to get the girls stockings this year because up until now we havnt done them for brie because she was a little too young to know about this santa buisness. But I didnt want just funky store stocking ( Ill admit if i had seen the PBK ones before starting these i would have saved myself a lot of pain) But I got this pattern and spent HOURS finding fabric and embelishments for them and then even more HOURS getting them all put together. So the green one is for G because Bre said she wanted red ( one of the perks about being the big sis) and the red one in this pic is almost what bries will look like. We actully made 4 of them becasue I gave 2 of them for gifts and thats what this red one was for. Bries will look almost the same but have different embelishmnts on it. I got green breads that hang down for it. Pics to come when its done!

Well I dont love this pic of me but it is one of the rare pics I can get kacy to take with me so its a keeper!

Sisters

Awww so yesterday Brie was watching Dora while I was holding G and I noticed Little G seemed to be watching the show as well so I asked Brie if she wanted to hold her sister and so she did for about 20 min while they both sat there watching it together. Sister bonding!

Who is prego now???

Prego fever is still spreading and as soon as someone i know pops one out someone else announces they r prego. So congrats to all you new girls who are having summer bambinos! im excited to see if they will be boys or girls! And the few of you who havnt popped yet, i cant wait to meet your little ones!

Snow at Last

Today we are gettng our first big snow, well besides the one we randomly got in Oct. Right now at our house we have gotten about 4-5 in and its still coming down hard. Im so excited because we are going to be staying up at a cabin next weekend and it will be so much nicer with snow to go sledding and snowshoeing. I hope it doesnt get too warm and melt cuz im dreaming of that white christmas!

Christmas Stroll

So last night we went to the Whitefish Christmas Stroll, we got there late so kinda missed the parade part of it but it was still fun to go around the streets getting cocoa ( well a mocha ) and differnt food. Brie got to go on a horse drawn wagon ride and both girls had their pic taken with father Christmas. We have to go back up to wf to pick up the photo next friday and then ill see if my scanner is working and put it up for you!

Ok so this is what happens when you give your toddler some paint and paper and then get distracted ebaying something. I heard her ask me to open a new color for her, but i said just a minute so i wouldnt loose my auction and by the time it was over this is what she had done to herself....good thing she was naked and that crayola paint is non toxic!

My lil Photogropher

Brie Loves to take pics, she has her own little non breakable camera but she still steals mine all the time. Scary seeing as in costs a couple hundred dollars but she is actully really good about not dropping it and keeping her grimy hands off the lens. Any ways we were at couple night about a month ago and she was going around the room taking pics and when I got the camera back this is one of them that she took of saras doggy! So cute! So now I like to check out what she gets and if i find some more good ones ill post them! Oh and I will encourage photogropher over McDonalds employee!

Ok so these just make me laugh, its nicoles dog the bounty hunter beth wig that we busted out one couples night and brie just looked so funny in it, reminded me of one of those beauty queen little girls that look all creepy with their big hair and fake teeth.
