ooo some days i wake up after a horrible nights sleep, thinking why did I want kids. They never let you sleep, the make messes all day, its almost impossible to go do anything.......ahhhhhhh but as i picked G up from her bed she looked at me and gave her first big smile and i thought "Thats Why"

Yeah for Thanksgiving week, Kacy only has to work 3 days, friends come to visit, food food and more food....so excited

The plan was to do turkey day with kacys fam, but looks like we might end up doing our very own dinner which seems fun to me. It will be my first time cooking the whole dinner and yeah im sure it will be a ton of work but you gotta learn to do it some time, im sure in the future my girls will be coming home for thanksgiving and their mama better be able to do it all! Who knows tho we still have 2 days to decide but if i do ill keep u updated on how it went....hope i dont burn down the house!

YAY Bries warts are GONE....right now there is a tiny red spot where each one was but i think they will go away too. The warts both fell off and bled a bit then scabbed up. Im sooo happy they are gone and I didnt have to have them frozen off or some other painful thing. Have a wart? the ACV works magic!

Twilight love hate...........

Ill start by saying im sorry to any die hard twilight fans who think im evil for even thinking its not the most amazing series ever! I gave twilight a try after hearing so many good things about them and surprisingly did enjoy the book a lot. The story plot is amazing even more so than say romeo and juliet who only had to face their families, Edward and Bella have it even harder to be together. But here is the bad part, I think the actual writing is bad, dialog is acward and not how people would normally talk, I understand that she needs to let the readers know all about the vampire world and what its like but she has edward explaining it to bella not really as a good dialog but more to just get the facts across to the readers. New moon was a lot more of the same, bad writing but the story plot holds it together really well. I do give her credit that by eclipse she got the writing down a lot better, but when you look back at the plot you go i just read 600 pages and they were entertaining but what even really happend? it was verry drug out. And then the Breaking Dawn, almost too long as well for only a few key events happening. I too loved all the books just for the plot. I think i might be a little tough of a critic because i respect good writing so much, read Gone with the wind and you will get the same amazing story but the dialog and writing is so much better and the 600 pages are full of events. Even Harry Potter although written for a younger age group trumps twilight with the details and quality of writing.....so there you have it, not only am i the ONLY person in the world who thinks taylor swift is a horrible singer im also the ONLY person who has ever picked up the Twilight series and didnt 100% love it!

Awww this is the life.....

Its a good thing babies sleep a lot because life as a baby who cant play with toys yet has got to be kinda boring!

Magic!

For a few months now brie has had these little red bumps under her lip and at first they looked like a rash, which she gets a lot on her face if some kinda food she eats reacts a little bit. Well they wernt going away and two of them started to get big enough that you could tell they were warts. YUCK......any ways i took her for a checkup and they looked at them but said to just let them go away on their own because if they had to take them off it would hurt and we would have to hold her down while they burnt them off.

Well i didnt wanna just leave them so i looked up ways to kill warts and found out about apple cider vinegar, you just soak some cotton in it and band aid it on the wart and it will kill it...some people said it took a week, others a month but i think it depends on how big the wart is and how long you leave the ACV on there. We tried right away and Brie had it on there for a few hours, the next day the warts were already looking kinda black. I tried to put more on there but brie kept saying it hurt and when i looked it up again did read that it can be painful. Well the bigger of the two warts with only that few hours of ACV fell off 2 days later.....AMAZING so now im trying to get the other one but its hard to get her to let me put it back on her face. Ill let you know if we have 100% success and if they dont come back!

Bad Dream......

I had a dream last night, more of a nightmare, that it was thanksgiving and because there were so many people there this year we were not having turkey dinner but soft shell tacos instead........SCARY

I WANT THAT.....

Ahhhhh just when you think your the lucky parent who has a kid you can take into a store and do your shopping with out the constant "I wants" things make a turn for the worst. Brie is horrible in stores these days because she has to have EVERYTHING she sees. Even in the grocery store she thinks she wants these food items that I know she doesnt like. And dont even try to take her to look at toys these days with out getting her something small. The biggest problem is that once you buy the toy she looks at it for about 2 min and then could care less about it. And watching TV shows with toy commercials drives me insane because every commercial she sees she goes....O I want that, I want that, I want that. Seeing as the house is over flowing with toys we are DONE buying stuff all the time. At least till the case or I-want-itis is cured!

A normal week Day for the stay at home mom......well me at least

8:00 am : One if not both girls are awake and im trying to do everything possible to lay in bed a while longer. if its brie awake i make her watch cartoons on my bed while i half sleep

9:00 am : give up on sleep Brie wants breakfast and has to go potty and keeps yelling at me "its awake time mommy"

10:00 am : Change G's diaper for about the 3rd time this morning, get her dressed and start one of 4 loads of laundry. Clean up toys, breakfast mess, and other random items. If lucky i will get a shower in there.

12:00 : Make Brie lunch, clean up after she spills something, bounce G 24/7 hoping one of these times she closes her eyes she will keep them closed for longer than 5 min

The rest of the afternoon is a repetition of the morning, cleaning, bouncing, laundry, diapers, baths, changing clothes and if we are lucky to have nice weather some play time outside or other super mom thing i come up with like painting or a craft or bake some cookies.

Also once in a while they take a nap at the SAME time and i get to read a few pages of a book, check email, or actually do my hair and put on some make up.

4:30 : head to town to meet up with Dad who will then take the kids for an hour so i can go to the gym.

7:00 : Go home, make dinner while playing with brie, and bounding G. Clean up some more.

Night time is usually Kacy watching some boring shows while i entertain the Girls some more till they finaly go to bed about 11 when i crash as well only to wake up a few hours later to start all over again

Dont get me wrong i love every messy, annoying, Dora filled moment of it....most of the time :)

P.S. the key to not going crazy is to plan a lot of adult time as well such as couples night, movie night, Greys night, and having play days with other moms as often as possible. And always remember the next weekend is on its way!

Potty Training.....check

One girl out of diapers just in time for another to arrive and start all over again! Brie is now about 95 percent potty trained with no accidents. She is sleeping every night with out diapers and even chooses to use the big potty instead of her little chair. It took a while to get down but i think it finally has worked now that we have a normal day to day schedual at home.

Happy One Month Birthday to my Baby G

Wow lil G has been part of our lives for a whole month already! The first few weeks were tough adjusting to everything but i think we are now in a nice groove. This week at least sleep has been going great! G only wakes up 2 times a night and its just to eat and then right back to bed. We had a rough time for a little bit there where she wanted to be awake for hours at a time but we kicked that habbit fast by just keeping it dark in the room and just putting her right back in her cariboo to fall asleep on her own. Ahhhhhhh now if only brie would sleep all night in her crib we would be in buisness!

Well in the first month of her life G has gotten a lot bigger and smaller in a way lol, at her 2 week checkup she gained weight but shrunk lol.

Birth : 7lbs 5 oz and 21.5in long
2 weeks: 7lbs 14oz and 20.5 in long

I love my itsey bitsey girl and get a little sad at how fast she is growing up but i also am excited for her to be able to do all the new things that are comming, especially be able to play with brie, which i know will be a long time away but i think thats why its so nice to have babies close together in age, even G and Brie are a little too far apart. I guess just enjoy every stage becasue they are all wonderful in their own way!

Halloween and Fall

So I wanted to put up pics of all the things we did for halloween and fall activities but i HATE how pics load on to blogger compared to wordpress and i know that all the pics i put up can be seen on my myspace or facebook so ill just skip that step

We did go to sweet pickins again this year while my dad was in town and brie had a lot of fun. That place is getting so crazy busy now tho that its a little harder to have fun on all the things. Last year I actually had some mini bike races with Nicole but i didnt wanna even try and get a mini bike this year because a bunch of kids were waiting to use them. But brie loved everything there again but her favorite thing was the sandbox with the tonkas and diggers. yeah thats my lil girl! Im excited for next year because i might do G's first birthday there which would be early enough in October that it might not be so packed yet and the weather might not be too bad.

For Halloween mom and dad got to go to the 2nd annual boo bash which was a ton of fun. It was my first time away from both girls for longer than a couple hours so it was nice to not have to worry about them for one night! I made a mermaid costume for myself and an outhouse for Kacy. Not gunna lie his costume was a ton of work seeing as i didnt even start it till 2 nights before the party. But there were a ton of funny costumes there and lots of good food and of course booze! Moms gotta let loose once in a while!

On actual Halloween we got some yummy jack o lantern pizzas and then got the girls in their costumes. Bries pirate turned out great, she loved the eye patch and the tutu made it so much more original than all the other pirate costumes i saw. Thank you Christina for teaching me how to make a tutu! For G i wanted her to have a costume but everything was way too big so i took my skirt i had made for myself cut it short and tightened the elastic to make G a mini mermaid, then i glued some sparkly shells on a onsie and ta da the littlest mermaid! We went to a carnival at the fair grounds which had some fun games for Brie to do. When it got dark we took the girls down the East side of town to do some trick or treating. Brie was so cute walking up to the doors and saying trick or treat, and she always said thank you which always got the people and then they would give her an extra piece lol.....manners pay off. We finished the night by going to some houses of people we knew. Another good Halloween where the weather turned out perfect with clear skys and not too cold weather!

Ok so i know i have been MIA for like 2 months now so its time to get semi caught up, I could go back and talk about the fair and my baby shower but that was all soo long ago that i think ill just start with having my lil baby G
