I get so caught up in making sure brie has the cutest clothes and gear that i forget that mom needs some perks as well, and a few beauty tricks makes me feel about 100 times better every day!

Summer is it really here

I keep holding my breath with the nice weather jsut waiting for it to snow! now i know that sounds funny but it did snow in JUNE last year! Christinas blog has to pics to prove it. I think we may be safe and have 3 good months of bbqs and boating, fishing and camping, swimming and tan lines! Ahhhhh can it get any better!

Bries Big Mouth Bass

Yesterday was such a nice day and i got to spend it at home with my lil Baby G! We filled up her pool and she had a great time playing in it......We have a big sink in our garage that i hook the hose up to so that it has hot water too.....wouldnt make her freeze in all icy cold water yet! We layed in the hammock and ate otter pops, it really was a great day athome. After Kacy got off work her went and got brie her own fishing pole and lil tackle box so she could have more fun when she goes fishing with him. On the way home we all stopped at the lake by our house and fished. We cast the pole for her but she does all the rest reeling it in and hooking the fish. We ended up catching tons of them! At first it was a lot of sun fish which is still fun for brie but then brie reeled in a bass lol! kacy was so excited and tried to get her to hold it up high for the pic but it was kinda heavy and she couldnt lift it any higher lol. She loves going an usually i just stay home and let daddy daughter go. Too cute!

Sick sick and some more sick

ugggg its been a bad week in our family! Brie got this horrible cold from her lil cousin caden and since then its been really miserable. She had it bad for about a week and she still has it now so its been about 2 weeks. I thought i was doing good cuz after a week i was still feeling good but it hit sunday night and hasnt let up. any one who doesnt have kids has no idea how much worse being sick is when you do. you dont get to sleep in, you have to still be up for games of hide and seek and you still have to clean up poop. but what even makes it all better is that the flu is going around too and last night im sleeping good for a change until brie climbes on me and throws up. So the rest of the night she sleeps then throws up about every half hour which means no sleep for me! So now im just waiting for the stomach pain to hit me......kacy run for you life cuz you may think you are super man not getting any of this but just wait your time will come.......oh wait when it does it will be like i have two two year olds to take care of!

Katies 21st on Cinqo de mayo (ps i took french dont know how to spell in spanish)

So im going backward here but i just noticed i never said that we went out for katies 21st bday this week! She is lucky enough that her birthday which hit on a tuesday was cinqo de mayo so there was a lot happining out on the town. I was a good sister and went out too! We did mexi dinner at los cap which was good even though i could see in the kitchen and they mix their beans with a power drill ???? lol and then we went to scottys to play some pool and see some other people. I had a blast even though i couldnt drink, and its a good thing becasue katie isnt a big drinker and didnt like a lot of her drinks and i would have been the one slurping all of them up. But it was good to at least go out like the rest of the adult world! We went home at about 11 but ol katie hit up places all over town....woo hoo for kali bars!

Bonfire

So i was not a bum last night and i rallied to make it to nicoles bonfire. I think Brie had more fun than any one there. She loved making smores and feeding chips to katies dog ellie, and just running around outside in the dark. yay for summer almost here! Im so excited that Brie is old enough now to have a good time doing stuff with me! and even tho she looks like she is mad she was having a good time, nicole just likes to make her mean mug!

mothers day

So yay today is mothers day! All of our plans have kinda got messed up with people being sick and then i had to work but its still going to be a good day! Last night we were going to take my mom to dinner but she got sick and couldnt go, and then today i ended up working which is ok with me! A day at work means kid free time to update my blog, watch some tv shows, and eat my mooses blt yum! Plus today turned out to be a great sales day! who knew people went shopping on mothers day? But so far this morning ( and i have only been here an hour) i have sold 4 pairs of glasses! 3 of which were oakleys which means i just won my contest and get some free oakleys for MYSELF....oh wait i promised kacy id give him my first pair i won, so now i need to sell 10 more by the end of may to get MINE! But tonight when im off we are going to do a nice lil bbq jsut the 3 of us and then i get my present! woo hoo kacy tried to give it to me already this morning but i wanted to wait till when i wasnt trying to get ready.......Any ways happy mommy day to all you moms out there i hope you guys and kids spoil you good....but not too good cuz that sets the bar too high for fathers day!
